 ਉੱਤਰ - ਆਦਿ ਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਪਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਨਸ਼ੀਲੀਆਂ ਵਸਤੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ ।
