Question 1. How is the spine crooked? What exercises should be done to correct spinal curvature?
Ans - Spinal curvature - Excessive bending of one part of the body causes stiffness and contraction of the muscles on the left side of the spinal cord.
This causes the spinal cord to become crooked and it takes the form of the English letter C.
Reasons-1) Keeping the body tilted to the right while working with the right hand and keeping the left arm up. This causes the spinal cord to bend to the left.
(2) Carry a bucket full of water with one hand each day.
(3) 10-12 year old boys and girls constantly pick up their younger siblings.
(4) Sitting crookedly.
(5) Walking lamely.
Exercise - The following exercises should be done to correct the spinal curvature.
(1) Swimming.
(2) Exercises that move the torso back and forth.
(3) Exercise by hanging with neem or pipal.
(4) Do breathing exercises.
(5) Exercises that make the muscles flexible.
